I've been asked on a few occasions what attracted me to S-tilestone. The answer is everything basically. At first glance it is simply beautiful, but beyond that it opens up a whole new realm of possibilities. Being as thin and light weight as it is will allow for completely new design concepts. I like to call it a force multiplier when it comes to design and fabrication. The design community is being given a completely new surface to work with. Imagine being able to have a stone ceiling without the engineering requirements. The savings on labor alone will help transform spaces. I am in awe of a product that marries the natural beauty of stone with the technology and manufacturing capabilities to give us the ability to work with stone in a whole new way.
